Your first visit typically takes about an hour and a half. During this time, we’ll get to know you and your dental health goals, take a comprehensive look at your smile, and ensure you leave with a clear understanding of your oral health.
To begin, we’ll review your medical and dental history, followed by a full set of digital X-rays. These images help our team get a complete picture of your oral health, allowing us to detect issues that may not be visible during a standard visual exam.
Next, one of our experienced dentists (Dr. Hadley Thurmon, Dr. Krupa Patel, or Dr. Autumn Peterson) will perform a detailed oral exam. This includes evaluating your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw for any signs of concern. We’ll take time to answer your questions and discuss any findings with you.
Unless periodontal treatment is needed, we’ll complete your visit with a gentle yet thorough cleaning. Our hygienists will remove plaque and tartar buildup, polish your teeth, and leave you with a fresh, clean smile you’ll love and feel.
